Day 4/80

I’m doing alright ladies and gents. I’m drinking all the water, eating the right foods, and following my Advocare journal. I’m getting better on the mental “I don’t wanna” battle. I have iron-clad will power and I like it. Hehe, well maybe it’s not iron-clad but I’m sticking with the program and not testing or tasting or sampling random foods. I’m On.The.PROGRAM!

Sleep is the only thing I’m slacking on. Fortunately, I’m a hardcore sleeper… head hits pillow… I’m out! Unfortunately, I like TV.

Monday night was the College Football Championship that went into OT. I went to bed late. Tuesday, I realized “This is Us” came on and HAD to watch it. I went to bed late. I also woke up on the hour to go to the restroom. Wednesday night, it was meet friends for dinner. Which by the way, I ate dinner ahead of time and just enjoyed the company! Yay me. No queso. No chips. No badness. But stayed out later than normal. I went to bed late. And also woke up every two hours to go the the restroom. I can not wait for my bladder to get with the new water intake program!

I’ve actually surprised myself with all this goodness, follow the rules stuff. And I’m already starting to feel better in general. Because I’m eating right proportions and healthy snacks, there aren’t any mid-day slumps or sugar hangovers. I’m feeling less bloated and I feel more energetic. My little noggin is alert and not foggy!

Here’s a rundown of my days lately during the Herbal Cleanse portion of the Advocare ONE/80 Transformation Challenge:

5:15 a.m.  – Wake up, make sure I pack all my prepped food and put together anything I may have forgotten the night before.

6:00 a.m. – Leave for work, Drink 8 – 16 oz water on commute.

6:45 a.m. – Drink spark and take two Advocare probiotic capsules and 3 catalyst capsules (not part of the Advocare Herbal Cleanse, but an optional purchase)

7:00 a.m. – Get to work, get breakfast ready.

7:15 a.m. – Drink Advocare fiber drink mixed with OJ (need less sugar but oh well) and eat breakfast: 2 hardboiled eggs, 1 piece of wheat toast with 2 tsp of strawberry jelly, coffee with creamer.

9:30 a.m. – Eat snack: Medium apple with 2 tbs of almond butter

11:30 a.m. – Take 3 catalyst capsules.

12:00 p.m. – Eat lunch: 6 oz chicken breast, 1/2 cup pinto beans, 1 cup broccoli, sometimes strawberries.

3:30 a.m. – Eat snack: Overnight oats

5:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. – Workout (take another 3 catalyst capsules 30 min before workout)

8:00 p.m. – Dinner: 6-8 oz protein. 2 cups spinach. other veggies. 2 Advocare Omegaplex capsules.

9:30 a.m. – 2 Advocare Herbal Cleanse Tablets.

10:00 p.m. – Sleep… maybe!

It’s not exciting by any means but it’s doing the job! I’ll weigh and take measurements on Day 11, after the cleanse is over. Crossing fingers for good results!

How’s your New Year, New You coming along? Already throw in the towel for 2018? Or making excuses? It’s ok if you’ve messed up. Get back on the train. The year is long and full of days for you to get back on track. I’m only on Day 4. My goal is to not mess up for the next 76 days. But life happens. And I can’t afford to beat myself up if something does go crazy.

So come on. Make new habits. Start a fresh journey. I’m here to virtually drag you along if I have to 🙂 But it’s way easier if you are a willing participant!
