Now what? The Journey Continues.

So the 80 days is up. I submitted my after pictures and essay. And now I wait to see if I get the opportunity at $25K. I don’t know that my change was enough compared to others or if my essay was compelling enough to win over the judges. We’ll see. I do know, that I am smaller, healthier and fitter overall. So whether I did enough to be in the running or not, it doesn’t matter. I had success!

Day 81 came and went. It was Opening Day and I didn’t eat all the foods or drink all the drinks. I didn’t eat all the junk! Yay!

Unintentionally, I took the week off from workouts. And intentionally, I took a break from logging food on Saturday and Sunday. I still ate good foods, I just didn’t weigh and measure everything. I needed a break. But I still meal prepped and got myself ready for the week.

Now I need to mix things up. I need to reassess where I’m at and make new goals. At the end of the month CrossFit Boom is hosting a nutrition class. I’m hoping it will inspire a new food plan to help me get the next 20-30 pounds off without losing gains in the gym.

But what I really need to do is MORE. I keep saying I need to add more to my workouts and I just don’t. Baby steps, right. Maybe I’ll add one extra morning workout a week. I won’t overcommit myself. Just get into a routine. Then I can add another morning workout. And maybe that’s all the extra I need. Two, 2-a-days per week, which will bring me to 5-6 workouts a week. I don’t know. Just spit-ballin here. I’ll figure something out. All I know is that I can’t stop.

I’m riding this thing out. I’m gonna see how far I can get. I’m not quitting. I don’t plan on letting the weight come back. Like I said, I have 20-30lbs to shed. Maybe more. I need support just as much as you might need.

No better time to start than NOW!
